A good way to start is by upgrading your Precision Bass wiring and electronics.

This set is perfect for a P style bass!

Upgrade Kit includes the following:

Options for Full (Solid & Split):
2 CTS Premium US ¼ or ⅜” Short Length Full-Size Potentiometer (1 A250K & 1 B250K)
1 Mallory Capacitors (0.047 μF)
1 Treble Bleed Circuit (TBC3)
1 Switchcraft Output Jack (Mini Short) 
2ft Gavitt Cloth Wire (White)
2ft Gavitt Cloth Wire (Black)

Options for Mini (Solid & Split):
2 Bourns US ⅜” Standard Length Mini-Size Potentiometer(Solid or Split A250K & B250K)
1 Mallory Capacitors (0.047 μF)
1 Treble Bleed Circuit (TBC3)
1 Switchcraft Output Jack (Mono Short) 
2ft Gavitt Cloth Wire (White)
2ft Gavitt Cloth Wire (Black)

Parts included are of the best quality and typically used in high-end PBass builds. All are USA brands.

Options:
- mini potentiometer, split shaft
- mini potentiometer, solid shaft (6.0mm shaft diameter)**
- full-size potentiometer, split shaft
- full-size potentiometer, solid shaft (6.35mm shaft diameter)**

Note:

* Bourns full-size pots are low torque for quick-to-turn knobs.
* If you want high-torque pots instead, send a message before purchase so we can change them for you.

*Potentiometer thread length and thread height is ⅜”. Each potentiometer comes with 2 sets of hex nut and washer to fit pickguard installation. Direct body mounting will also fit.
We use standard values for capacitors and potentiometers although specs can be replaced upon request.
Please send a message if you want to change something. Otherwise, we will ship standard options.

** For the Mini Solid Shaft, the shaft diameter is 6.0mm only.
For the Full-size Solid Shaft, the shaft diameter is 1/4" or 6.35mm.
Some knobs only allow up to 6.0mm shaft diameter.
Please check and measure to make sure that your knobs will fit.
We also have the 6.35mm knobs variant if you need it. Just check out the metal knobs 1/4" 6.35mm version.

Each of the components was carefully tested in our laboratory to ensure the best-balanced set that will improve the tone of your guitar.
