HSH Strat Wiring Kit Upgrade

This set is perfect for a Strat style guitar with H-S-H pickup configuration.
Bridge: Humbucker (H)
Middle: Single-Coil (S)
Neck: Humbucker (H)

HSH wiring seems tricky because most people are confused with what component values are best for Humbucker and Single-Coil combinations.
The truth is, the recommend values of potentiometer and capacitors for HSS setups really depends on the wiring style.
There are too many config possibilities. Each has its own pros and cons. It is always best to consult with your trusted guitar tech.

We carefully designed 4 options so you can choose which wiring style is best for you.

#1 Standard with Auto-Split (NO Bridge Tone Control)
- For 4-wire HB only
- T1 for Neck, T2 for Mid. Can also be wired so that T1 for Neck, T2 for Bridge and NO Mid Tone Control

#2 Matched Load for 2-wire humbucker (No Auto Split in positions 2 and 4)
- Can also be used for 4-wire HB
- No Mid Tone Control
- Uses a Superswitch

#3 Matched Load with Auto Split (Position 3 is Neck + Bridge)
- For 4-wire HB only
- No Mid Tone Control
- Uses a Superswitch

#4 Matched Load with Auto Split (Position 3 is Neck + Mid + Bridge)
- For 4-wire HB only
- No Mid Tone Control
- Uses a Superswitch

Upgrade Kit includes the following:

- 3 CTS Premium US ⅜” Standard Length Full-Size Potentiometer (US specs)*
- 2 Orange Drop Capacitor (0.047uF & 0.022uF)
- 1 Treble Bleed Circuit (TBC4)
- 1 Switchcraft Guitar Output Jack
- 1 OAK Grigsby USA 5-way pickup selector switch
- 1 switch tip (white)
- 2ft Gavitt Vintage PushBack Cloth Wire (white)
- 2ft Gavitt Vintage PushBack Cloth Wire (black)

Optional:
- Precision Resistors
- Superswitch Upgrade

Parts included are of the best quality and typically used in high-end guitar builds. All are USA brands.

Notes:

* Bourns full-size pots are low torque for quick-to-turn knobs.
* If you want high-torque pots instead, send a message before purchase so we can change them for you.

*Potentiometer thread length and thread height is ⅜”. Each potentiometer comes with 2 sets of hex nut and washer to fit pickguard installation.
Switch tip color can be requested (white, black, parchment and mint). This is subject to availability.
We use standard values for capacitors and potentiometers although specs can be replaced upon request.

Each of the components was carefully tested in our laboratory to ensure the best-balanced set that will improve the tone of your guitar.
The kit already includes a Treble Bleed Circuit which helps in maintaining a uniform tone at different volume levels.
