Tele 5-way Bill Lawrence Wiring Kit US Parts

This Custom Tele Wiring Kit includes the wiring parts you need for a 5-way wiring style aka Bill Lawrence.

In addition to the 3 positions of a standard Telecaster wiring, this will give a 2 additional positions for more tonal possibilities!

Pickup Configuration:
Position 1: Neck pickup solo
Position 2: Neck + Bridge in parallel
Position 3: Bridge pickup solo
Position 4: Neck + Bridge in parallel “half out of phase"
Position 5: Neck pickup solo with 10 percent less low end than position 1

Take note that you may need to convert the Neck pickup into 3-wires (separate ground wire).

We also recommend trying out Greasebucket Circuit for the tone control mod. This is optional and you can purchase separately.

Parts included are of the best quality and typically used in high-end guitar builds. All are USA brands.

- full-size potentiometer, solid shaft (6.35mm shaft diameter)**

NOTES:

* Bourns full-size pots are low torque for quick-to-turn knobs.
* If you want high-torque pots instead, send a message before purchase so we can change them for you.

*Potentiometer thread length and thread height is ⅜”. Each potentiometer comes with 2 sets of hex nut and washer to fit pickguard installation. Direct body mounting will also fit.
We use standard values for capacitors and potentiometers although specs can be replaced upon request.
Please send a message if you want to change something. Otherwise, we will ship standard options.

** For the Mini Solid Shaft, the shaft diameter is 6.0mm only.
For the Full-size Solid Shaft, the shaft diameter is 1/4" or 6.35mm.
Some knobs only allow up to 6.0mm shaft diameter.
Please check and measure to make sure that your knobs will fit.
We also have the 6.35mm knobs variant if you need it. Just check out the metal knobs 1/4" 6.35mm version.

Each of the components was carefully tested in our laboratory to ensure the best-balanced set that will improve the tone of your guitar.
The kit already includes a Treble Bleed Circuit which helps in maintaining a uniform tone at different volume levels.
